Our Impact

GRS Zambia meaningfully engages young people and their broader communities to create youth-responsive health programmes that effectively address their comprehensive needs. GRS Zambia’s signature evidence-based and sport-based SKILLZ programmes equip youth to navigate their futures through a preventive and promotive youth-led approach. These programmes focus on gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, SRHR, HIV, youth-friendly services, mental health, and positive youth development.

GRS Zambia harnesses a multi-sectoral network of government and social services that layers health, education, sport, youth development, economic empowerment, and child protection. GRS partners with a network of Zambian community partners – including schools, government and line ministry stakeholders, health clinics, youth clubs, churches, traditional leaders, parent groups, police forces, and social service providers – to bring SKILLZ to young people.

With deep experience in youth-led sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and mental health programmes, GRS Zambia bridges the gap between more than 35,000 young people and the health system in Zambia each year.
